Privacy policy.
Boring but necessary: the General Data Protection Regulation ('GDPR'), which protects people's personal details, says I have to have one of these. Most of the ones I've seen are written in legalese and really hard to understand. This, is my plain English version.
About my business
I'm a sole trader – this is my personal business. I trade as Felicity Morgan, Writer.
How I collect and use personal details
I use a contact form to collect minimal personal details.
I'll take very good care of your personal details. My work laptop is password-protected and no-one uses it but me.
My site is built with Squarespace and uses industry-standard SSL security.
I'll only use your personal details to contact and work with you.
I won't spam you.
I won't give or sell your personal details to anyone else. Ever.
You can ask to see the personal details I've got about you at any time. Email me on felicity@felicitymorganwriter.com.
You have the right to ask me to delete your personal details (but I won't be able to contact you if you do this).
Cookies
My website uses cookies (tiny files that record details about websites you visit). This means I can use a service called Google Analytics to see how many people visit my website, whether they've been on it before, and which pages they look at. I don't use cookies to collect personal information. By visiting my site you agree I can use cookies.
Links to other websites
There are some links to outside websites on my site. I only add links to other websites if they're relevant, and I think they're safe to link to. But, please only click on a link to an outside website if you think it's safe. I can't be liable for any loss or damage you suffer by linking to other websites.
